- Trades that include draft picks must be announced on the league message board and confirmed by each manager participating in the deal.
- Managers may only trade picks from the upcoming draft. For instance, during the 2010 season, 2011 draft picks may be dealt, but not 2012 picks. As soon as the 2011 draft gets underway, 2012 picks can be traded.
- If a manager has not paid dues for the following season and is not planning to return to the league, he may not trade any future draft picks. Essentially, you can only trade draft picks from seasons that you've paid for.
- As outlined in the draft rules, managers are allowed to possess too many or too few draft picks. If they have an excess, they will draft until their roster is full, losing any potential late-round picks after that point. If they do not have enough draft picks to fill their roster, they will receive additional picks in supplemental rounds, following the completion of the draft's final round.
